More Than a Logo
Branding My Car, Branding My Soul
Today felt like a milestone - not just for my business, but for me as a person, as a woman stepping fully into her calling. I officially branded my car with the name of my newly launched life coaching business, but this wasn’t just a marketing move. It was a deeply spiritual experience - an unexpected journey that started with soap, water and a sunrise.
The day began early. I was up before the city truly stirred and something about the quietness made the day feel sacred. As I pulled into the car wash, the birds were already awake, chirping softly, as if they were welcoming the sunrise and maybe even cheering me on. I treated my little car - the one that’s been with me through uncertainty, countless errands, moments of doubt and bursts of inspiration - to the supreme wash. All the bells and whistles. A full deep clean. It felt like more than just washing a vehicle. It felt like clearing energy, setting an intention, preparing a vessel - for the road ahead and the message it now carries.
Next stop: the graphics design company. I’d spent weeks working with the designer, but nothing could’ve prepared me for how I’d feel watching it all come to life. As I waited for the vinyl to be printed and installed, I struck up a conversation with the owner of the shop - a total stranger, but someone I now won’t forget.
Although today was only the second time we met in person - the first being a brief introduction through a referral from my hairdresser - it felt like the first time we truly connected. Over the past few weeks, we had exchanged countless texts and voice notes, diving into the details of my vision. From logo placements to measurements, she took the time to really understand the heart behind my project. So while today marked just our second face-to-face encounter, our conversation felt like a natural continuation of something already well in motion.
While we chatted, I was kept company by the owner's dog - the cutest little Yorkshire Terrier, full of personality and joy. This tiny boy showered me with affection, curling up on my lap like we’d known each other for years. There was something so unexpectedly comforting in his presence, like he was silently saying, “You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.” That simple cup of coffee with a stranger, in the company of this loving little soul, felt warm, caring and deeply human. There was understanding without explanation, connection without pretense.
Over coffee, we spoke not just about the project, but about life. Our stories. Our beliefs. Our paths. Two people from completely different walks of life - different ages, different backgrounds, different perspectives - yet for a moment, none of that mattered. What mattered was the human connection. The kind that reminds you how much beauty there is when we take the time to truly see someone. To speak from the heart, not from the surface.
We talked about business, yes, but also purpose. How creating something - whether it’s a brand, a product or even a vinyl decal - can be an act of love, of identity and of hope.
When I finally saw my car wrapped in the name of my business, I got a little emotional. It wasn’t just about marketing. It was about stepping into my power, claiming my space and showing the world: This is who I am now. This is what I do. This is my purpose.
Branding my car made it official on the outside, but the real shift happened on the inside. Today wasn’t just about business growth. It was about soul growth. About aligning my outer world with my inner truth.
I drove home slowly, proud and heart full - not just because of what I had accomplished, but because of the reminder that every interaction, every moment, can shape us. That we are constantly being created - not just by what we do, but by who we meet, what we see and how deeply we allow ourselves to feel.
To anyone out there stepping into something new - trust the journey. Have the deep conversations. Let the little things be sacred, because sometimes, what seems like a simple errand becomes a soul-level transformation.
