Every Little Thing

Bring It All to God - Even the “Silly” Stuff

Have you ever found yourself hesitating to pray about something because it just felt… small? Maybe even silly? You’re not alone. Many of us have had moments where we thought, “God has bigger things to worry about. This isn’t important enough”, but here's the truth: if it matters to you, it matters to God.

Prayer isn't just for emergencies, big decisions or moments of crisis. It's for everything. The Lord isn’t just a distant deity waiting for a formal request - He's a loving Father who invites us into a constant, open and honest relationship with Him.

Think about a child talking to their parent. They’ll share everything - what they ate for lunch, how they got a scratch on their knee or the name of the bug they saw on the sidewalk. It’s not filtered, not strategic - just real, unguarded connection. That’s the kind of relationship God desires with us.

Whether it's asking for peace before a meeting, help finding your keys, strength to get through a hard conversation or even clarity on what to wear when you're overwhelmed - God wants to hear from you.

You don’t have to “clean up” your prayers or make them sound holy. You don’t have to wait until you have the right words. He already knows your heart. He just wants you to come.

Even Jesus, during His time on earth, modeled this kind of deep and ongoing communication with the Father. He prayed often, sometimes with loud cries, sometimes in quiet solitude, but always with honesty.

Nothing is too big, too small or too silly for God. He wants all of you - your worries, your joys, your questions, your everyday stuff.

So the next time you wonder if something is “worth praying about,” remember this:

“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

Yes - all your anxiety. Not just the heavy things. Not just the spiritual things. All of it!

God cares about your heart, your thoughts, your life - every part. So come to Him freely, fully and without fear. Talk to Him like the loving Father He is, because nothing is too small when it’s brought to the feet of a big, compassionate God.
